Four men are in custody following a major police drug operation that resulted in the seizure of more than 500 cannabis plants and a large quantity of marijuana from a plantation near Pares Village, according to Antigua Observer.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Frankie Thomas addressed reporters following the operation, stating that close to a thousand pounds of cured cannabis was recovered during the raid.
The operation marks one of the more significant drug seizures in recent memory, targeting what authorities described as an established plantation in the Pares Village area.
