A Bendals Village resident has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison following a drug trafficking conviction in the High Court.
According to Antigua Observer, Damar Stapleton appeared before Justice John Spencer and was sentenced last Friday, having previously entered a guilty plea on May 12th. The conviction stems from an incident at Deep Water Harbour on March 8th, 2024, when police intercepted Stapleton in connection with drug trafficking.
