The Antigua and Barbuda National Accreditation Board (ABNAB) has attributed its recent decision to increase service fees to rising training costs, expanded responsibilities, and mounting funding and operational challenges.
According to Antigua Observer, the Board's position was outlined by Executive Director Sharon Kelsick during an interview with Observer Media on Friday, following an official announcement of the fee changes.
Kelsick explained that the increases were not arbitrary but were driven by the practical realities facing the organisation as it works to fulfil its growing mandate. The combination of higher training expenses and broader operational demands left the Board with limited alternatives, she indicated.
